OUR JOURNEY
After ~18 years of corporate experience in advertising and brand management, in late 2017, Avnish decided to take a plunge in entrepreneurship and started Cycool with a view to become reliable event partner for corporates. During his experience as a brand manager he realised that event agencies were lacking business understanding, client’s perspective and why a particular event is being conceptualised. He also felt that client was looking for a dependable event partner whom he can trust for ideas and delivery.
After executing a few events in 2017 and initial learning, Cycool started working on variety of projects - Store launches across cities, well-being events, retail and mall activations, R&R events, sports events, annual days and a few special projects. Client base also grew from 2 clients to 5 clients and Cycool delivered all the projects with great aplomb.
2019 was the year when Cycool really established great rapport with its clients and became preferred agency partner for most of them. At the same time new clients, new projects, new challenges started pouring in and Cycool team delivered innovative solutions with passion everywhere.
As we were growing our base and teams, an unexpected pandemic hit the world and entire world came to a standstill. For most of the companies it became a matter of survival. Many event agencies after a couple of months of struggle and gasping for life, left hope and collapsed. Cycool saw it as an opportunity to explore new things. We created virtual wellbeing sessions for our clients and designed a customised virtual fitness platform as well. Additionally, Cycool ventured into cycling space and created India’s 1st cycling only platform cycoolsports.com
Covid situation continued in 2021 and wave 2 completely shook India. While our virtual wellbeing programs were running well in corporates, physical events were still very limited. We were just trying to keep ourselves afloat and then one of our esteemed clients thought otherwise, it was decided to open a few stores in a couple of cities. We were thrilled to manage all those events and delivered 100% safe events with all the essential covid protocols in place.
We hit the restart button at the end of 2021 and took a fresh guard. Offline events started growing slowly and by mid-2022 we were working in full swing again. We added clients, people, strategies with a new vision and executed several successful projects. At the same time, we started improving our systems & processes along with compliance. Cycool also got its Trademark registered in 2022 along with its presence on all major social media platforms.
It is a strong positive beginning of 2023 with multiple exciting projects for the year and some thrilling plans for the future. Digital presence has been further strengthened by the relaunch of Cycool website (www.cycool.co.in). The time looks very fascinating and full of new opportunities now onwards. With new dreams and vision, we have embarked on this amazing journey.
